Rupture Disc Holder

In high-pressure water jet equipment, the rupture disc holder prevents exces - sive system pressure and protects system safety, functioning similarly to a fuse in an electrical circuit system.When the system pressure exceeds the maximum bursting pressure of the rupture disc, the rupture disc will burst automatically. This allows water flow to discharge through the rupture disc seat and realizes pressure relief of the system.

Accessory Details

*Primary bursting pressure is generally set at 1.2 times the normal working pressure. For example, if the working pressure is 40,000 psi (2758 bar),the required bursting pressure of the rupture disc is 40,000  × 1.2 = 48,000 psi.A 50,000 psi rupture disc can be selected.

Secondary bursting pressure is normally set at 1.4 times the normal working pressure.
