High-Pressure Waterjet Cutting

High-pressure waterjet cutting, commonly known as cold cutting, can cut virtually all metallic and nonmetallic materials. As a cold‑cutting process, it does not compromise the material’s physical or mechanical properties, nor does it alter its grain‑boundary microstructure. With broad applicability, it is well suited for processing extremely thin or soft metals and nonmetals—such as copper, aluminum, plastics, wood, rubber, and some seventy to eighty other materials and products—and can even replace carbide grooving tools. Moreover, it allows cutting at any angle and offers numerous advantages, including zero thermal distortion, narrow kerfs, high precision, smooth cut surfaces, and environmental friendliness.
